Transurethral Needle Ablation: Low level radiofrequency energy is channeled through two needles to burn away a section of the enlarged prostate. Transurethral Surgery: Involves the insertion of an instrument called a resectoscope through the urethra. It uses a small electrical loop to cut tissue and seal off blood vessels. PVP Greenlight: PVP or Photo-selective Vaporization of the Prostate is minimally invasive surgical technique that uses laser light to vaporize prostate tissue without significant bleeding. |
